Finding your voice doesn’t have to be an elusive, hard-to-discover challenge.
And today, I’ll show you a step-by-step way to begin to look at your work and understand the voice that you already express in your art.
In this feedback session I discuss:
-how feedback can help you hold a mirror to your art,
-different ways of grouping the art you make to consider your overall body of work, and
-ultimately, how finding artistic voice is about spotting what you already do and going all in.
I wrap up the session by offering you a step-by-step approach to setting up and creating your own portfolio review. A special thank you to community member Pam for sharing her portfolio with us!
If today’s session resonates with you, I have a limited number of spots available for this kind of 1-1 feedback and support, but via email! It’s called Happy Ever Artist and you can learn more about it, and sign up (if there is availability) here.
Thank you Carrie for the insightful informative talk on a portfolio review. It gave me some clarity as I seem to be going in two different directions with my art at the same time.
Hi Linda! I’m glad it helped. Maybe you have two different series developing? Happy art-ing!
Lots of food for thought Carrie. Thankyou.
